Physics 123, Sec. 1, Spring 2008
Exam 1 is now graded and will be turned back to you
on Monday, May 19. The average on the multiple-choice
exam was 75% and the average on the homework-style
exam was 80%, about like previous semesters and terms.
I made a mistake in the numbers on Problem 4 on the
homework-style part which made the problem somewhat
confusing for some people.
Because of this error I gave generous partial credit.
If you want you can do this problem again using the
corrected version.
If you choose to do so I will replace your old score on
this problem with the new one, but you can't do the
new one and then take the larger of the two scores.
If you ask me to grade the new problem I will replace
your old score.
